What we grow
All of our plants this year are direct sown in the field, or were started inside under lights as early as January of this year. We buy ~90% of our seeds from Southern Exposure Seed Exchange and the rest come from Johnny's Selected Seed and Fedco Seed. Most of the cultivars are from recommendations found in Pam Dawlings book Sustainable Market Farming, Ira Wallace's book Vegetable Growing in the Southeast, and Jean-Martin Fortier's The Market Gardener.
